We are a group of individuals who are more than average fond of glasses and sunglasses and would love to help you find your perfect pair. We have over 30 years of experience as an optometrist offering glasses, sunglasses, contact lenses, and everything else that fits in the vision category.

Lasse Thuestad established Synsenteret Stavanger in 1985 with two employees and a dream to be the best in class. Best customer service, the best variety of glasses, and the best in fashion. Today Synsenteret Stavanger is one of the largest optician practices in Norway.

Here at Synsenteret Stavanger, we take every customer seriously, both young and old. We always have a focus on design and glasses with high quality. We want you to always know that we provide a wide range of interesting brands for both glasses and sunglasses. And for the youngest, we have one of the largest collections of kids’ glasses in the country. We have a long-standing tradition of helping the youngest find the right fit and have vision test equipment suited for kids.

We have several experienced, talented opticians, and multiple examination rooms. In addition, we have our repair shop, where we repair and prepare glasses. One of the reasons we have customers both locally in Stavanger, but also Sola, Sandnes, Bryne, and Haugesund is that we have a very short wait time for both repairs and vision tests.

Already when we the doors to our store in 1985, we focused on fashion, kids’ glasses, and contact lenses. Although we have moved to a bigger space since then, we still have the same philosophy: we won’t stop until we can find a solution for you!
